Heavy rain causes roof collapse , trapping residents in Lachi

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2026) Heavy rainfall caused the roof of a house to collapse in the Malgeen area, Tehsil, Lachi , trapping several residents beneath the rubble, the official sources said on Tuesday.

The Rescue teams rescued six injured people , they added.

The Rescue teams continued operations to free two people who were believed to be trapped under the debris, while emergency workers and local volunteers coordinated search and rescue efforts.

The injured were being provided medical assistance as rescue operations remained underway, they added.
