Govt. reduces petrol, diesel prices by Rs1.97 per liter

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jul, 2026) The Federal government on Friday announced a reduction of Rs1.97 per liter in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) for the coming week.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the revised ex-depot prices will take effect from July 4, 2026.

Following the revision, the price of motor spirit (petrol) has been reduced from Rs299.50 to Rs297.53 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been lowered from Rs311.47 to Rs309.50 per liter.
