Governor KP praises forces for successful operation in Barkhan

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday praised the security forces for carrying out a successful operation against Indian-backed terrorists in the Nosham area of Barkhan district of Balochistan.

The Governor paid tribute to the armed forces for eliminating seven terrorists during the operation and commended the professional conduct of the security personnel.

He said the sacrifices rendered by the brave soldiers, including Major Tausif Ahmed Bhatti and four other personnel who embraced martyrdom during the operation, were another great service of the armed forces for the country.

Governor Kundi paid rich tribute to the martyrs and said the nation would always remember the sacrifices of its brave sons.

He said the resolve of the Pakistani nation to safeguard humanity, democracy and peace was unwavering and unconquerable, adding that the struggle against terrorism would continue until its complete eradication.
