Food authorities destroy 2800 liters of adulterated milk, Rs 50,000 fine imposed

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2026) Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has intensified its campaign against sale of adulterated milk across the district as random checks were made at the motorway toll plaza, here on Friday.

According to a PFA spokesperson, a vehicle carrying 5000 liters of milk was thoroughly examined with the modern detection devices. Approximately 2.8 thousand liters of milk were found adulterated, as water was mixed in the milk.
