Pedestrian killed

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2026) A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a speeding tractor-trolley near Khaira Bridge on the BRB Canal in Lahore on Friday.

A Rescue 1122 spokesperson said the emergency service received a call reporting a traffic accident at Khaira Bridge.

According to the caller, the speeding tractor-trolley ran over a man while he was crossing the road.

Rescue teams reached the scene and shifted the body. The deceased could not be identified immediately, and the body was later handed over to the police for legal formalities, the spokesperson added.
