Exchange programs vital for stronger professional expertise, communication links: Amb. Tirmizi

MOSCOW, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Apr, 2026) Ambassador of Pakistan to Moscow Faisal Niaz Tirmizi on Wednesday said that the exchange programs were essential for enhancing professional expertise and building stronger communication links between nations.

The ambassador, addressing a delegation of South Asian Journalists here, underscored the vital role of the media in fostering international understanding and bilateral cooperation.

Tirmizi hosted a dinner at the Embassy for the visiting journalists who were participating in the SputnikPro_South Asia professional training program, organized by the Rossiya Segodnya media group and supported by the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund’s InteRussia project.

The delegation included representatives from prominent outlets such as the Associated Press of Pakistan, Radio Pakistan, Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, Kuensel Corporation (Bhutan), Mihaaru news (Maldives), and Somoynews. tv (Bangladesh).

Representatives from Rossiya Segodnya, the Gorchakov Fund, and representatives of other media outlets also attended the dinner.
