TANK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Tank, Abdul Samad Khan, handed over the death compensation cheques to the families of two martyred policemen during a ceremony held at his office, reaffirming the police force’s commitment to supporting the families of its martyred personnel.
The compensation cheques worth Rs 11 million and Rs 10 million were handed over to the families of martyred Sub-Inspector Sher Aslam Khan and martyred Constable Samiullah Khan, respectively, under the death compensation package.
On the occasion, the DPO met with the children of the martyrs, spending time with them and appreciating their courage and resilience.

The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the elevation of the ranks of the police martyrs and for lasting peace, prosperity and security in the country.
