District administration hosts musical tribute to martyrs

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) The district administration on Sunday organized a grand music concert at the sports Stadium to commemorate the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq,where tributes were paid to the nation’s martyrs and veterans.

A large number of families and citizens attended the event, waving national flags and chanting slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pak Fauj Paindabad.”Renowned singer Aima Baig along with local artists,performed patriotic songs during the ceremony.

Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Shehzad Asif Khan, Members of the National Assembly Dr.Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti and Iram Hamid,Deputy Commissioner(DC) Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry and District Police Officer (DPO) Sohaib Ashraf attended the event along with parliamentarians and senior administrative officials.

Addressing the gathering, Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali described Marka-e-Haq as a symbol of national unity, sacrifice and bravery.

He said the sacrifices rendered by martyrs would always remain alive in the nation’s memory and stressed the need to promote patriotism and national solidarity among the younger generation.

RPO Shehzad Asif Khan said law enforcement agencies and citizens had always demonstrated unity for the peace and security of the country adding that the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans could never be forgotten.

MNA Dr.Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti said such events helped strengthen national consciousness and fostered a stronger connection between the youth and national heroes. He also appreciated the district administration for organizing the ceremony successfully.

The event concluded with a fireworks display as participants expressed enthusiasm through patriotic songs and national fervour.
