Deadly wreck near winder kills 3

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Mar, 2026) A tragic road accident near Winder in Quetta claimed three lives, including a police officer and his son, police reported on Friday.

According to details, officials confirmed that the victims were Station House Officer (SHO) Abdul Salam Mengal, his son Manzoor Mengal, and a police gunman, private news channels reported.

Police reported that the accident took place while the SHO was performing his routine patrol duties in the area.

Authorities said the tragedy occurred following a collision between the SHO’ s vehicle and a passenger bus en route from Karachi to Quetta. The bodies of the deceased were later transported to a nearby hospital for necessary procedures, police added.
