DC reviews arrangements in cattle market in Murree

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Murree Umar Awais Kayani visited Ahata Noor Khan cattle market along with Additional Deputy Commissioner General Kamran Sagheer to review arrangements ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

Officials of relevant departments were also present.

The DC inspected various sections of the market and reviewed facilities being provided to traders and citizens, including cleanliness, drainage, drinking water and lighting.

He directed authorities to ensure maximum facilities for buyers and traders and further improve sanitation arrangements with regular monitoring.

Security arrangements were also reviewed, including entry and exit points, parking, traffic management, CCTV surveillance and emergency preparedness.

Officials said that arrangements were being further improved in view of expected public rush to ensure a safe and organised environment.
