RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi has further intensified a special crackdown against one-wheeling during Eid-ul-Azha to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property, maintain smooth traffic flow, and prevent road accidents. Strict legal action will be taken against violators involved in dangerous driving activities.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Farhan Aslam said that a zero-tolerance policy would be enforced against one-wheeling, speeding, and reckless driving during the Eid holidays to provide safe travel facilities to the public.
He stated that individuals involved in one-wheeling would face legal action in accordance with the law, while specially modified motorcycles used for stunts would also be impounded.
The CTO said special traffic arrangements have been made on key roads and areas, including Airport Road, Peshawar Road, Jhelum Road, Ayub Park, and other major highways, to ensure the safety of young people and improve traffic flow.

He further said that traffic personnel deployed across the city are already actively working to prevent one-wheeling, while the monitoring system has been further strengthened during Eid-ul-Azha to ensure immediate action against violators.
The CTO also urged parents to play their role in guiding young people positively and discouraging dangerous trends such as one-wheeling, to help protect precious human lives.
