CPO Rawalpindi visits CCD Regional Office, vows joint efforts against crime

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2026) City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi, Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera visited the Regional Office of the Crime Control Department (CCD) here on Wednesday, while Regional Officer CCD, Hassan Jahangir Wattoo briefed him on the department's working, operational performance, and ongoing initiatives.

During the visit, CPO Sukhera distributed appreciation certificates to officers who demonstrated outstanding performance and commended their professional dedication.

Addressing CCD officers, the CPO emphasized that close coordination between the Crime Control Department and Rawalpindi Police would play a vital role in preventing crime and enhancing public safety.

He said both organizations would work together to take effective action against criminal elements. "The performance of the CCD has contributed to a reduction in the crime rate across Punjab. We must continue our collective efforts to prevent crime and eliminate criminal networks," the CPO said.

On the occasion, the CCD presented an honorary shield to CPO, Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera in recognition of his support and cooperation.
