Commissioner Hazara directs swift resolution of issues, emphasizes environmental protection in Kaghan–Naran Master Plan

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) Commissioner Hazara Division Fayyaz Ali Shah Saturday has directed concerned departments to resolve all administrative and conflicting matters through mutual consultation at district and divisional levels to ensure timely completion of development projects and sustainable regional growth.

He issued these directions while chairing an important meeting regarding the draft master plan of Kaghan, Naran, and Battakundi.

The meeting also reviewed possible alternative alignments for the proposed Mansehra Naran Jalkhad Challas (MNJC) Road. Director General Kaghan Development Authority Rahmat Ali was also present on the occasion.

Officials of the National Highway Authority briefed the participants that consultations with relevant departments and technical assessments are underway to finalize a feasible and comprehensive route for the project.

The Forest Department stressed the importance of ensuring effective protection of forests, national parks, and wildlife within the master plan. It was informed that all proposed development initiatives would be aligned with environmental protection requirements to preserve the natural beauty and ecological resources of the region.

The meeting decided that the draft master plan would be shared with all relevant departments without delay. It was further agreed to strengthen the One Window System and streamline the issuance of NOCs to facilitate investment and development activities in the region.
