CM Bugti expresses sorrow on tragic passenger bus accident in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dana Sar border & Balochistan

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2026) Chief Minister (CM) Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Friday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic passenger bus accident that occurred in the Dana Sar border area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

CM Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that as soon as the information about the accident was received, the Balochistan government issued instructions to the relevant institutions to immediately intensify rescue and relief operations.

The district administrations, Frontier Corps (FC), rescue institutions and relevant departments of both provinces are engaged in relief activities at the accident site, while timely and best medical facilities are being provided to the injured.

He said that the concerned administrative officers are conducting a detailed review of the causes of the accident and a full investigation into the incident is underway.

CM Balochistan has directed the concerned authorities to leave no stone unturned in the relief operations, provide all possible medical facilities to the injured and provide all possible assistance to the affected families.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. He said that the Balochistan government stands with the affected families in this difficult time.
