CEO Health reviews health facilities

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jun, 2026) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Health Authority Gujrat, Dr Syed Ata-ul-Munim, conducted surprise visits to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Kharian and Government Trauma Centre Lalamusa to review healthcare services and administrative performance.

According to official sources, the inspections aimed to strengthen the healthcare delivery system by identifying shortcomings and ensuring immediate corrective measures to provide quality and timely medical services to the public.

At THQ Hospital Kharian, the CEO checked staff attendance and inspected emergency services, including the labour room.

He also reviewed patients' treatment charts and expressed satisfaction with the doctors' clinical notes. He directed the Medical Superintendent to submit a report on the cleanliness of the labour room and the functionality of medical equipment.

During his visit to Government Trauma Centre Lalamusa, Dr Ata-ul-Munim inspected emergency services and the labour room, and sought an explanation from the Medical Superintendent over delayed post-delivery cleaning.

He said negligence in patient care would not be tolerated and directed all Medical Superintendents to ensure strict compliance with the prescribed dress code for hospital staff.
