Bus hits motorcycle near Zahir Pir, leaving 2 women dead

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) As many as two women were died on the spot, while another was injured when a bus collided with a motorcycle near Zahir Pir, a city in Khanpur Tehsil of Rahim Yar Khan District, on Thursday.

According to details, rescue sources said a speeding bus collided with a motorcycle and as a result of the crash, two women died on the spot while another woman sustained injuries, local news channel reported.

Rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies and the injured woman to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment. The injured woman was reported to be in stable condition.

Police also reached the accident site and started an investigation into the incident. The accident reportedly occurred due to reckless driving.
