HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) On the special instructions of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, a huge amount of money has been given to 125 registered NGOs in the form of assistive devices to improve the quality of life of special children and equip them with modern education.

These views were expressed by Regional Director Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability Hyderabad Imtiaz Ahmed Khan on the occasion of distributing assistive devices among visually impaired students and other persons at Hyderabad Welfare Association of the Blind’s Institute of Education, Training and Protection for Blind People Latifabad.

On this occasion, Additional Director Social Welfare Hyderabad Mehtab Memon. Assistant Director DEPD Fahim Ahmed Soomro. Deputy Director Social Welfare Irfan Baghio. General Secretary of the organization AD Pirzada. President Abdul Rashid Khan.

Senior Vice President Haji Muhammad Yasin Arain, In-charge of the institution Madam Shahnaz and others were also present.

Imtiaz Ahmed Khan said that 67 centers for the education and rehabilitation of special children and 10 centers for art have been updated with modern equipment throughout Sindh.

He further said that education is the fundamental right of all special children, therefore it is the responsibility of every person in the society to encourage such welfare institutions.

Additional Director Social Welfare Hyderabad Mehtab Memon said that the aim of all of us is to serve the suffering humanity and seek the pleasure of Allah Almighty.

On this occasion, AD Pirzada welcomed all the guests and said that in our institution, along with education, technical education is also provided free of cost to the children so that these children do not need anyone in the future.

Haji Muhammad Yasin Arain also gave a detailed briefing on the Education Institute, Training and Protection for the Blind on this occasion, while other speakers also expressed their views on the Education Institute.

He praised the performance of the training and protection for the blind. Later, the special guest Imtiaz Ahmed Khan distributed (assistive devices) among the children.
