CPO Hamdani pays tribute, Lauds Jafri’s contributions to peace & harmony

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani visited the residence of late Peace Committee member Shaukat Jafri here on Wednesday.

During the visit, CPO met with the bereaved family and offered prayers for the elevation of the deceased’s ranks.

Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations), Chief Traffic Officer, and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.

The CPO paid rich tribute to the services of Shaukat Jafri, stating that his contributions for the maintenance of peace and promotion of interfaith harmony in Rawalpindi would always be remembered.

He said that the late Jafri’s services in strengthening law and order and fostering religious harmony were invaluable and unforgettable.
