Abbasi pays tribute to security forces for successful operation in Barkhan

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) Federal Minister for Railways, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi on Thursday paid rich tribute to security forces for conducting a successful operation in Nausham, Barkhan, in which seven terrorists belonging to “Fitna Al-Hindustan” were killed.

In a statement, the minister praised the bravery and professionalism of the security personnel for eliminating the terrorists and safeguarding the country against threats posed by militant elements.

Hanif Abbasi also paid homage to the martyrs who embraced shahadat during the operation, including Major Tauseef Ahmad Bhatti, Naik Fida Hussain, Sepoy Zakir Hussain, Sepoy Suhail Ahmad and Sepoy Muhammad Ayaz.

He said the martyrs rendered unforgettable sacrifices for the defense of the homeland and elevated the nation’s pride through their courage and dedication.

The minister said the Pakistani nation would never forget the immense sacrifices made by its brave armed forces and martyrs in the fight against terrorism.

He reaffirmed that the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the security forces until the complete eradication of terrorism from the country.
