60 agencies, 600 operational plans oversee pilgrims’ movement to Mina

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Millions of pilgrims began settling in Mina on the Day of Tarwiyah under extensive operational, transport and service arrangements aimed at helping them perform Hajj rituals with ease and peace of mind during Hajj 1447 AH.

According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is closely monitoring pilgrims’ movement to Mina camps through field teams and operational centers in coordination with Hajj companies and different service departments.

The report said authorities are supervising accommodation, food, guidance and support services being provided to pilgrims as they arrive in Mina ahead of their departure to Arafat.

SPA told APP that more than 60 government and operational entities are participating in Hajj field management through over 600 operational plans coordinated under the Hajj Projects Management Office (Hajj PMO) of the Pilgrim Experience Program linked to Saudi Vision 2030.

The integrated operational framework is functioning under the supervision of the Supreme Hajj Committee headed by Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif to ensure smooth implementation of Hajj arrangements.

The report said the ministry’s “Nusuk Care” centers are also actively serving pilgrims in Makkah and the holy sites through 38 centers and more than 160 service locations staffed by multilingual field teams speaking over 11 languages.

Authorities said the centers have so far provided more than 180,000 services including guidance, translation support, complaint handling and assistance for humanitarian cases involving pilgrims.

According to SPA, the Day of Tarwiyah marks one of the most important stages of Hajj, during which pilgrims spend the day and night in Mina following the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) before departing for Arafat.
