586 inspection visits carried out in Hyd division on 25th Ramazan

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Mar, 2026) The officials of the district administrations in the Hyderabad division carried out 586 inspections on the 25th day of the holy month of Ramazan to perform the price checking and to ensure the food quality control.

A spokesman of the Commissioner Hyderabad Fayaz Hussain Abbassi informed here on Sunday evening that the inspection teams found 103 violations of notified rate lists and quality by the outlets and vendors selling edible items.

He told that the authorities imposed a total of Rs105,300 in fines on the violators.

According to him, 103 inspection visits were carried out in Hyderabad district, 86 in Dadu, 87 in Sujawal, 69 in Matiari, 46 in Tando Allahyar, 40 each in Thatta, 63 in Jamshoro, 49 in Badin and 43 in Tando Muhammad Khan districts.

He said the Divisional Commissioner had strictly directed his subordinates to implement the price list and to ensure that no adulterated food items were sold in the markets.
