MAKKAH MUKARRAMAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) The Pakistan Hajj Mission has released the final schedule of 10 Dhul Hijjah for pilgrims operating under the Government Hajj Scheme. Under the newly issued directives, performing Rami (the stoning of the devil) before 6:00 PM is mandatory. Consequently, the Ihram can only be removed (Halq or Qasr—shaving or clipping the hair) after 6:00 PM, following the completion of the ritual animal sacrifice.
According to Director Hajj Makkah, Muhammad Arif Aslam Rao, all pilgrims must perform these rituals exclusively in groups at their designated times, led by their respective group leaders (Nazims).
Director Hajj Makkah, Muhammad Arif Aslam Rao, stated that in accordance with the instructions issued by the Saudi authorities, specific and separate time slots have been allocated for each Maktab to perform Rami at the Jamarat on 10 Dhul Hijjah.
All concerned Nazims are bound to ensure that the members of their respective groups perform Rami strictly according to this pre-determined schedule.

The Director further explained that the relevant Saudi authorities have scheduled the first day's ritual sacrifice for Government Scheme pilgrims up until 6:00 PM. For this reason, pilgrims must complete their Rami before 6:00 PM.
"Only after 6:00 PM, once all ritual sacrifices are fully completed, can pilgrims exit the state of Ihram by undergoing Halq (shaving the head) or Qasr (cutting the hair)," Rao clarified.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Pakistan Hajj Mission have strongly urged all pilgrims to strictly adhere to these timelines and guidelines to ensure a safe, organized, and smooth Hajj experience.
