ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jun, 2026) YouTuber, Razi Tahir, was arrested after a court rejected his pre-arrest bail application in a case linked to a disputed news report about a meeting between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and a former senior figure.

The hearing was held in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka.

Razi Tahir appeared before the court and presented his case during the proceedings. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court announced its decision and dismissed his request for pre-arrest bail.

Following the ruling, officials of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) took Razi Tahir into custody from the court premises.

The case was related to a controversial report regarding an alleged meeting involving the PTI founder and a former high-profile personality. Authorities were investigating the matter under relevant legal provisions.

Razi Tahir had been on interim bail for the past two weeks. According to officials, the NCCIA was expected to present him before the court today to seek his physical remand for further investigation.
