ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2026) Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid Tuesday said that national progress requires clear direction and collective efforts, emphasizing that the youth are a valuable asset of the country and must be provided with effective guidance and timely awareness.

She expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation led by Saqib Ali, Founder of the Federal Youth Parliament Pakistan, which called on her to discuss various youth-led initiatives.

The delegation, comprising young students, briefed the Chairperson on their ongoing activities, particularly those aimed at promoting women’s empowerment, social awareness, and community engagement.

Appreciating their efforts, Senator Rubina Khalid highlighted the importance of constructive youth participation in national development. She also underscored BISP’s pivotal role in strengthening women’s identity and economic empowerment across the country.

The Chairperson encouraged the delegation to actively project and communicate the Programme’s positive contributions and impact among the general public.
