Youth killed in train accident in Mumtazabad

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) A youth was killed after being hit by a train while crossing a railway track in Mumtazabad on Monday.

According to rescue officials,the incident occurred near Parvez Elahi Park,where an emergency call was received reporting that a person had been struck by a passing train.

Rescue teams rushed to the site and found that suspect identified as Nauman Akhtar(23) died on the spot.

However,the family of the deceased declined to initiate legal proceedings.The body was later handed over to the heirs.
