Younger brother arrested for killing elder over wheat dispute

MUZAFFARGARH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) Police arrested an accused for killing his elder brother during a dispute over wheat distribution.

According to a police spokesperson, the District Police Officer Kot Addu ordered an investigation under the supervision of SHO Kot Addu City Police Station, Shahid Farid.

During the probe, police arrested Muneer, who allegedly shot dead his elder brother Younis during a dispute over wheat distribution.

The suspect had fled the scene but was later arrested. During the operation, a proclaimed offender was also detained, whose identity was not disclosed. Police suspect his involvement in the murder as well.
