Youm-e-Ashura reminds us about truth, patience, sacrifice ,struggle against oppression : Makhdoom Saeed

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) The Chairman Sindhi Adabi board Makhdoom Saeed-u- Zaman "Aatif" said in his statement regarding 10 Muharram al-Haram (Ashura Day) that this day is a great symbol of truth, honesty, patience, sacrifice and struggle against oppression.

Imam Hussain and his loyal companions sacrificed their lives in the field of Karbala and taught humanity to stand on freedom, justice and truth forever.

Makhdoom Saeed-ul-Zaman "Aatif" said that Karbala is not only a historical event, but a guidance for people of all ages, which gives us the message of not bowing down to falsehood, supporting the truth and supporting the oppressed.

He said that the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A) for the sake of unity, brotherhood, tolerance and protection of the highest human dignity of the Muslim Ummah is a bright example.

He further said that on the occasion of Ashura, we should all follow the teachings of Imam Hussain and promote peace, love, brotherhood and justice in our society.

He also offered special prayers for the safety, development and prosperity of the country and the nation.
