HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2026) Muskan Vocational Institute, Daulatpur, organized a ceremony, Wednesday to mark World Youth Skills Day. Addressing the event, District Officer Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resources, Research and Development board (BBSHRRDB), Niaz Hussain Ujjan, highlighted the importance of technical and vocational skills for young people. He said that Government of Sindh, through BBSHRRDB, is successfully implementing market-driven and employment-oriented vocational training programmes across the province to equip youth with skills that lead to dignified employment.
Director of Muskan Vocational Institute, Daulatpur, Wali Muhammad Jokhio, said that the institute is providing vocational training to young people with the support of BBSHRRDB. He informed participants that under Phase XVI, training courses in Hair and Beauty Services, Computer IT Assistant, and Dress Making are currently underway, enabling trainees to acquire practical, market-relevant skills.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Speaking on the occasion, Principal Government Commercial Institute, Qazi Ahmed, Shahnawaz Unar, emphasized the importance of technical education and encouraged young people to actively participate in skill-based training programmes to secure better employment opportunities and build a brighter future.
Among other speakers, Regional In-charge Allama Iqbal Open University, Anwar Ali Jogi, stressed that professional and technical training is essential for economic development and self-reliance. Representatives from the District Monitoring Unit (DMU-SBA), Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resources, Research and Development Board (BBSHRRDB), Government Commercial Institute Qazi Ahmed, Allama Iqbal Open University, and other organizations also attended the ceremony.
