Woman killed as dumper hits motorcycle

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2026) A woman was killed and her husband sustained serious injuries after a dumper truck hit their motorcycle near Sadar Police Station Chowk in Gujrat.

According to Rescue 1122, the couple was travelling from Chak Sada towards Gujrat when the dumper truck, reportedly coming from the wrong side, collided with their motorcycle at the main chowk near Sadar Police Station.

As a result, Naseem Mai, 56, wife of Hashim Ali, died on the spot, while her husband, Hashim Ali, 70, son of Ghulam Muhammad, sustained serious injuries.The couple belonged to Khanewal district.

Rescue 1122 shifted the body and the injured man to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital after providing first aid. Police were investigating the incident.
