Woman held for allegedly killing niece

MUZAFFARGARH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) Police have solved the murder of a six-year-old girl in the Chowbara police limits, arresting the child’s paternal aunt as the prime suspect.

According to police sources, the incident occurred in Chak no.

120 ML, where the victim, identified as Alisha Fatima, was allegedly killed by her aunt, Irfana Bibi, following a domestic dispute with the girl’s father, Imran.

The accused, with the help of an accomplice identified as Suraya Bibi, hid the body in a bed after committing crime.

Police recovered the body, and took both suspects into custody. A case was registered against the accused.

The deceased was handed over to heirs after the post-mortem examination.
