VC IUB stresses Islamic values in Ramzan message

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) On the commencement of the holy month of Ramzan, Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, delivered a special message through Radio Pakistan. In his address, the Vice Chancellor stated that Pakistan is an ideological state, and it is our religious responsibility to promote and practice Islamic teachings at every level of society. He emphasized the importance of embodying the true spirit of islam in individual and collective life. Quoting a Hadith Qudsi, he said, “Allah Almighty has declared that fasting is for Him, and He Himself will reward it.” He added that the sacred month of Ramzan brings with it immense mercy and blessings, providing believers with an opportunity for spiritual purification and self-accountability.

Professor Dr. Kamran urged people to enlighten their hearts and minds with the teachings of the Holy Quran during the blessed hours of Ramzan. He further informed that special seminars, lectures, and Quran study circles have been organized across all campuses of the university to mark the arrival of the holy month and to promote religious awareness among students and faculty. The Vice Chancellor concluded by encouraging the university community to make the most of Ramzan through worship, reflection, and service to humanity.
