Valuable material gutted in factory blaze near Bara Muhammad Wala

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) Valuable material was gutted after a fire broke out at a textile factory near Bara Muhammad Wala on Jaranwala Road in the limits of Saddar Police Station,here on Monday.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson,the blaze erupted at Zamal Textile Factory in an old-tyre storage area after a worker allegedly threw a lit cigarette.

The fire rapidly spread to the surrounding area and destroyed combustible material stored at the factory.

Rescue 1122 firefighting teams rushed to the site after receiving information and brought the blaze under control following hectic efforts lasting several hours.

No casualty was reported in the incident,rescue officials said.
