Unidentified body recovered from canal

MUZAFFARGARH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) An unidentified body of a man was recovered from the Muzaffargarh Canal near Basti Qalandarwala in Mouza Fateh Sohrani within the jurisdiction of Qureshi Police Station.

According to Rescue sources, the deceased appeared to be between 35 and 40 years of age.

Sources said the body was reportedly floating from the Kot Addu side before it was spotted in the canal.

Police of Daira Din Panah Police Station shifted the body into custody and were trying to ascertain the identity of the deceased.
