Uncle shoots nephew dead in Charsadda

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) A man shot and killed his young nephew following a verbal argument in Tangi area of Charsadda on Sunday.

According to police, the incident took place in Ijara Dar Killi within the jurisdiction of Tangi Police Station.

What started as a minor exchange of words reportedly escalated into violence when the accused opened fire on his young nephew.

Police said the victim, identified as Bilal, was shot dead in front of his house in the presence of his father, Sher Ali. The incident spread fear and panic throughout the area.

Initial reports suggest that the dispute may have been related to financial dealings, though police have launched an investigation from multiple angles to determine the exact motive.

Following the incident, police registered a case and began raids to arrest the suspect.
