U19 batters go through scenario-based match as training camp continues in Multan

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2026) Pakistan Under-19 Skills Development Camp is continuing in full swing at the Multan cricket Stadium, where players are undergoing intensive training to enhance adaptation to varying match situations and technical abilities ahead of the upcoming tour of England.

As part of the camp, the players participated in a scenario-based practice match designed to expose them to different match situations and improve their decision-making under varying conditions.

Head coach Shahid Anwar closely monitored the session and guided the batsmen on adapting their approach according to the demands of different match scenarios.

He emphasized the importance of adjusting batting strategies, maintaining composure, and building innings responsibly in line with the requirements of the game.

The coaching staff also worked on refining the batters' techniques while helping them develop the skills needed to respond effectively to changing match situations.

The Pakistan Under-19 camp will continue until the last week of August.

The Asian champion Pakistan Under-19 team is scheduled to tour England in September. During the tour, Pakistan Under-19 will play one four-day match and four One-Day matches against England Under-19 as part of their preparations for future international competitions.
