Two-member gang involved in street crimes arrested in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2026) Police have arrested a two-member gang allegedly involved in a robbery and recovered a stolen motorcycle and a mobile phone from their possession here on Sunday.

According to police, the suspects were apprehended during a targeted operation carried out by Morgah Police. The recovered motorcycle and mobile phone had been snatched during the robbery, official said.

SP Potohar Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan said the suspects would be presented to court with solid evidence to ensure their prosecution.

He added that individuals who deprive citizens of their valuable belongings would not evade the law, reaffirming the police's commitment to protect public property and maintaining law and order.

Likewise, Banni Police have arrested a suspect allegedly involved in a theft at an apartment and recovered stolen valuables, including a laptop, a mobile phone, a wristwatch, and other items.
