Two killed, one injured in land dispute shooting in Paharpur

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jun, 2026) Two young men were killed and another was injured after a dispute over land ownership escalated into a shooting incident in Wanda Jamal, an area of Tehsil Paharpur.

According to police, an altercation between rival groups over a land dispute turned violent, resulting in an exchange of fire.

As a result, Nasrullah, son of Eid Muhammad, a resident of Badni Khel and Sabir Shah, son of Zain-ul-Abideen, a resident of Wanda Jamal, lost their lives.

A third individual, Abdul Rashid, son of Mashal Khan, sustained injuries in the incident.

The police reached the scene soon after receiving information about the shooting. The bodies of the deceased and the injured man were shifted to the hospital, while investigators have launched a probe to ascertain the circumstances and motives behind the incident.
