Two industrial units fined in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jul, 2026) The Environment Protection Agency (EPA) imposed fines totaling Rs150,000 on two industrial units during an enforcement drive against environmental violations in Gujrat district.

According to official sources, the inspections were conducted under the supervision of Assistant Director Environment Usama Majid.

During the drive, EPA teams inspected 15 industrial units and brick kilns to ensure compliance with environmental laws.

The teams found environmental violations at two industrial units and imposed fines totaling Rs150,000, which were recovered on the spot.

The EPA urged industrialists and brick kiln owners to strictly comply with environmental laws, warning that action against violators would continue to ensure environmental protection across the district.
