KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jun, 2026) Inspector General of Sindh Police Javaid Alam Oadho on Monday met ten Under Training (UT) Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) at the Central Police Office Karachi.

DIG Headquarters Sindh, AIG Establishment, and AIG Operations were also present at the meeting, said spokesperson of IG Police, Sindh.

The trainee ASIs, recently posted to various districts, were given a special briefing regarding their field responsibilities.

The IGP Sindh congratulated the young officers on assuming their new responsibilities and extended his best wishes to them.

Public service, integrity, professional expertise, and the supremacy of law must be given top priority under all circumstances, said Javaid Alam Oadho.

The prestige, discipline, and public trust of the Sindh Police will be further strengthened by your exemplary performance, the IGP Sindh remarked.

The IGP Sindh also shared his practical experience with the officers regarding tackling field challenges and ensuring effective policing.

"The young officers should pay special attention to modern policing, the use of technology, and the promotion of community policing," the IGP Sindh advised.

"Every officer must ensure optimal teamwork, effective supervision, and transparent governance in their respective districts," the IGP Sindh added.

"Strict compliance with departmental rules and regulations, along with courteous and positive behavior towards the public, should become the hallmark of the Sindh Police," said Javaid Alam Oadho.

"The young officers should continuously enhance their professional capabilities and face every challenge strictly within the bounds of the law," the IGP Sindh stated.

"The role of young officers is crucial in further strengthening merit, accountability, and professional standards within the Sindh Police," the IGP Sindh emphasized.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the trainee ASIs found the IGP Sindh's guidance highly beneficial and expressed their resolve to discharge their professional duties in the best possible manner.
