Traffic police launching driving permits facility for juvenile drivers from next month

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2026) The City Traffic Police are going to launch a driving permits facility for juveniles aged between 16-18 from next month.

In this regard, traffic police will start receiving applications from teenage drivers from March 1.

According to a spokesperson here Wednesday, the fees for the permit will be Rs 500.

The youth interest in the permit will have to enclose an affidavit of their parents or other legal heirs.

The traffic police will conduct a ‘traffic signs’ test and the permits will be issued to passing candidates.

He said that this facility is being launched to facilitate the juvenile drivers.
