Traders’ rally in Sukkur pays tribute to armed forces on Marka-e-Haq

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) The Sukkur Small Traders and Sukkur Development Alliance on Sunday took out a rally from Gold Centre Office, Sarafa Bazaar, to express gratitude to the Pakistan Armed Forces on the occasion of Marka-e-Haq.

The rally was led by SDA Chairman and President Sukkur Small Traders Haji Muhammad Javed Memon. Among those who participated were Haji Ghulam Shabbir Bhutto, Muhammad Amir Farooqui, Abdul Qadir Shiwani, Khursheed Mirani, Agha Tahir Mughal, Babu Farooqui, Dr Saeed Awan, Syed Umair Shah, and others.

Participants carried banners and national flags while chanting slogans of “Pak Fauj Zindabad” and “Pakistan Paindabad”.

Addressing the rally, Mr Memon said the armed forces had made the country’s defence “invincible forever” by inflicting a crushing defeat on India.

“Our brave forces, led by Field Marshal Asim Munir and imbued with the spirit of faith, taught the enemy a lesson it will remember for centuries,” he said.

He said the army had proved that no one should remain under any delusion, as it had the full capability to respond forcefully to any aggression. “The Pakistan Army is the world’s number one army and remains vigilant for the protection of the homeland,” he added.

He said the entire nation and the trading community stood shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces for the country’s security, stability, and prosperity.

Prayers were also offered for national progress and security at the end of the rally.
