Traders’ body reaffirms solidarity with armed forces

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Mar, 2026) The Anjuman Tajran Commercial Market in Rawalpindi on Sunday expressed solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces, reaffirming its commitment to supporting national security and defence at all levels.

Anjuman President Malik Sohail Awan, General Secretary Raja Zafar Yousaf, Joint Secretary Tahir Ismail and Patron-in-Chief Raja Asad Hameed and other office-bearers, in a joint statement, said the armed forces were the guarantors of the country’s security, sovereignty and stability.

Malik Sohail Awan said that in the prevailing circumstances, the entire nation, including the trader community, stood shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces and would not allow any internal or external conspiracy to succeed.

The trader leaders said the sacrifices rendered by security forces for the defence of the country and the restoration of peace were unforgettable and would always be honoured.

They reiterated that the business community would continue to support state institutions in difficult times and play a constructive role in promoting national development and stability.
