Trader looted of Rs.800,000 at gunpoint in Head 46

MUZAFFARGARH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2026) Two unidentified armed men looted a trader of Rs.800,000 at gunpoint in the suburban locality of Head 46 within the limits of Chowk Qureshi police station,here on Sunday.

According to police sources,the suspects intercepted the trader,identified as Ijaz Bhatti and snatched the cash before fleeing the scene.

The victim was reportedly on his way when the incident occurred.

Police have registered a case against the unidentified assailants and launched a search operation to trace and arrest those involved.

Authorities said efforts was underway to gather evidence and identify the culprits.
