LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) The Health Department has suspended three lady doctors of the Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) following serious irregularities in the submission of medico-legal reports (MLCs) to the Lahore High Court.
According to official sources on Wednesday, the disciplinary action was taken after the doctors allegedly failed to follow the prescribed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and submitted manual medico-legal reports, including reports related to other patients, before the court.

The suspended doctors include Associate Professor Dr. Mansoora Mirza, Women Medical Officer Dr. Imra Sabahat, and Dr. Ayesha Umar Khan.
Sources said that the doctors were suspended on the directives of the court, and disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against them. The Health Department has reiterated its commitment to ensuring transparency and strict compliance with medico-legal procedures in public healthcare institutions.
