TDAP organizes seminar for women entrepreneurs on Business startups & Export Documentation

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jun, 2026) The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Regional Office Quetta, organized an exclusive seminar titled "Business Startups and Initial Documentation in Export Perspectives" at the Quetta Chamber of Commerce & Industry (QCCI), Zarghoon Road on Monday.

The seminar aimed to equip women entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners, home-based producers, and women-led enterprises, students with practical knowledge on establishing export-oriented businesses and accessing international markets, reaffirming TDAP's commitment to women's economic empowerment through export development.

The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the National Anthem, followed by a welcome address from Noor Ali Achakzai, Director, TDAP Regional Office Quetta.

He emphasized the importance of increasing women's participation in Pakistan's export sector and highlighted TDAP's continued efforts to support women through capacity-building initiatives, awareness programmes, and export facilitation services.

The technical session was conducted by Muhammad Sharif, Executive Officer, TDAP Regional Office Quetta, who provided participants with practical guidance on business startup procedures, export registration, documentation requirements, regulatory compliance, and developing export-ready enterprises.

He also outlined TDAP's role in facilitating exporters and connecting them with global markets.

The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from academia, students, women entrepreneurs, students, and aspiring exporters across Balochistan.

During the interactive question-answer session, participants sought guidance on business registration, export documentation, quality standards, certifications, e-commerce opportunities, participation in international trade fairs, and TDAP's export facilitation services.

The event was effectively coordinated and managed by Asif Abro, Assistant Director, TDAP Regional Office Quetta, who oversaw the planning and successful execution of the seminar.

In her closing remarks, Shahzadi Fozia Kasi, Executive Member, Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry, appreciated TDAP's initiative and emphasized the importance of women's economic participation in sustainable development.

TDAP reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening women's role in Pakistan's export sector through specialized training, awareness seminars, and capacity-building initiatives to enhance export readiness, expand market access, and contribute to the socio-economic development of Balochistan and the country.
