AC Lalian inspects graveyards, orders improved cleanliness and removal of encroachments

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jun, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Lalian Dr. Muhammad Anas Saeed visited various graveyards across the tehsil on Monday to assess sanitation conditions and review the availability of essential civic facilities.

During the inspection, he examined the cleanliness of the graveyards, the condition of boundary walls, internal pathways and the drainage system. He directed the concerned officials to take immediate steps to remove encroachments, strengthen the cleanliness mechanism and ensure the proper maintenance of all burial sites.

The Assistant Commissioner also instructed the authorities to undertake tree plantation drives within the graveyards to improve the environment and provide a more pleasant atmosphere for visitors.

Dr. Anas Saeed said that graveyards are places of great respect and dignity, and their proper upkeep remains a top priority of the government. He warned that negligence in maintaining cleanliness and providing essential facilities would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
