Tamgha-i-Imtiaz awardee Kashif Ashfaq accorded grand reception

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) Pakistan Furniture Council and ChenOne, Chief Executive Officer Mian Muhammad Kashif Ashfaq, was accorded a grand and warm public reception on Tuesday upon his arrival at Rajana Interchange after receiving the prestigious Tamgha-i-Imtiaz in recognition of his outstanding services to trade, humanity, industry and the furniture sector of Pakistan.

A large number of traders, industrialists, social workers, political figures and citizens gathered at the interchange to welcome him enthusiastically. The atmosphere reverberated with slogans and greetings while flower petals were showered on the award recipient.

Advisor to Minister of State and Federal Tax Ombudsman Dr Waqar Ch Arain said that the award was a recognition not only of Mian Kashif Ashfaq’s visionary leadership but also of his valuable contributions towards the promotion of Pakistani furniture, exports and economic activities.

Later, he was taken to his native city, Toba Tek Singh, in a grand motorcade procession. Hundreds of vehicles accompanied the convoy while people standing along the roads warmly welcomed him.

The participants termed the national honour a matter of pride for the entire region.
