Strong unity between people, armed forces to protect state: Arbab Khizer

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) Additional Information Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Arbab Khizer Hayat, on Tuesday reaffirmed that the entire nation stands united with its armed forces in defending the country’s sovereignty and stability.

While talking to ptv news, he said on February 21, Pakistanis acted decisively to protect the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in response to attacks targeting the nation from Afghanistan, he added.

He emphasized that these actions were necessary because hostile elements had carried out assaults not only in Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad but also on Imambargahs, mosques, and civilian areas.

He highlighted the sacrifices made by citizens and members of the armed forces, many of whom were martyred while defending the nation.

He described their courage as a reflection of the nation’s unwavering commitment to peace, security, and the protection of Pakistan’s sovereignty against all threats.

Safeguarding the country and ensuring the safety of its people requires vigilance, unity, and a determined response to those who seek to destabilize Pakistan, he mentioned.
