SSP operations instructs women police on Ramazan duties, emphasises security of women

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2026) On the directions of City Police Officer (CPO)Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani, SSP Operations Malik Tariq Mehmood conducted a special briefing for women police officers regarding security arrangements during the holy month of Ramazan. The meeting was attended by the SHO of Women's Police Station and other female officers.

Addressing the participants, the SSP Operations directed them to perform their duties with dedication and professionalism, particularly at Ramazan Sahulat Bazaars, where a large number of women visit for shopping.

He stressed that ensuring the safety and security of women is among the top priorities of Rawalpindi Police and must be guaranteed at all costs.

He added that Safe City cameras are being used for continuous monitoring of important locations and major roads across the city.

The SSP Operations further said that all available resources are being utilised to maintain law and order during Ramazan. He reiterated that, in line with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, efforts are underway to provide women with the safest possible environment.

A spokesperson for Rawalpindi Police said that special security measures have been put in place to facilitate citizens and maintain peace during the holy month.
