SRSO Celebrates Women's Day in Shikarpur, Larkana & Jacobabad districts

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Mar, 2026) The Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) celebrated the International Women's Day in several districts of Sindh. In this connection, community awareness events were held in various villages in the Shikarpur, Jaccobabad and Larkana districts of Sindh to mark International Women's Day 2026, themed "Give To Gain". The events, organized under the Sindh People's Housing For Flood Affectees (SPHF) initiative, aimed to recognize women's roles in society and promote awareness about women's rights and leadership.

A hundreds of Women from community institutions, Village Reconstruction Committees, and local organizations participated enthusiastically.

They discussed women's rights, equality, and challenges faced by women, sharing inspiring success stories. Colorful placards and cultural activities highlighted women's strength and contributions, creating a motivating atmosphere.

Community women appreciated the initiative, expressing happiness over such events being organized in their villages. The celebration encouraged women to remain confident and continue playing an active role in community development.
